Effect The champions slash mercilessly with their broadswords against enemies in a 5-foot emanation (DC 27 reflex save). The damage depends on the number of actions.

The champions draw or reload their longbows, then launch a ranged attack in the form of a volley. This volley is a 10-foot burst within 100 feet that deals 5d8 piercing damage (DC 27 reflex save). When the troop is reduced to 2 segments, this area decreases to a 5-foot burst.
The champions channel the infernal power of Hell itself into their strikes. If their next action is a Massacre that deals damage to at least one creature, all creatures that take damage from Massacre must also attempt a DC 27 will save.
Critical Success The creature is unaffected.
Success The creature is Frightened 1.
Failure The creature is Frightened 2.
Critical Failure The creature is frightened 2, becomes Stupefied 2 for 1 round, and takes 1d6 persistent fire damage.
